Let
us
Pray
O Lord grant that this day
We come to no decisions,
neither run into any kind
of responsibility,
but that all our doing may be
ordered to establish
new and quite unwarranted
departments
for ever and ever.
A
HYMN
O thou, who seest all things
below.
grant that thy servant
may go slow,
that they may study to comply
with regulations till they die.
Teach us Lord to reverence
committees more than common
sense.
Impress our minds to make no plan.
but pass the baby when
we can.
And when the Tempter
seems to give
us feelings of initiative,
or when alone we go too far,
chastise us with a Circular.

சிவப்பு நாடா பக்தர்களே!
உமக்கான பிரார்த்தனை.
தொழுகை
நாம் பிரார்த்திப்போமாக.
பரமபிதாவே! வரம் தருவீர்களாக!
நாங்கள் ஒரு தீர்மானமும் எடுக்க வேண்டாமென்று.
தவறிக்கூட பொறுப்பேற்க வேண்டாமென்று.
உருப்படாத புதிய புதிய இலாக்காக்களை என்றென்றைக்கும்
உருவாக்கும் திறனை அளிப்பாயாக.
கீர்த்தனை
ஆண்டவனே!
மண்ணுலகில் நடப்பது எல்லாம் நீ
அறிவாயே.
உன்னடிமையாகிய எங்களை அருள் கூர்ந்து
வரமளிப்பாயாக.
சாகும் வரை, ஐயனே, நாங்கள் நத்தை நடை நடந்து,
ரூல்! ரூல்! ரூல்!
என்று ஜபிப்போமாக.
தேவனே! பொது அறிவை விட கமிட்டி துரைத்தனத்தை
போற்றுவோமாக.
திட்டமும் வேண்டா; சட்டமும் வேண்டா.
பிரச்னைகளை நைஸா தள்ளிவிடவேண்டுமையா.
சாத்தான் வந்து எமக்கு சாதனை ஆசை காட்டினாலோ,
நாங்களே தொலைவு நோக்கி பயணித்தாலோ,
ஒரு சுற்றறிக்கை போதும், பரமபிதாவே.
